THE TASK OF IDENTIFICATION Who do you think you are? Well I’m glad you asked. I can as most assertive people, be able to give you a clear description of who I am. But few people can actually boast of a definite description of who they are. And no, I don’t mean your physical features or the works you have accomplished in your time on earth so far. I am talking about a clear concise one paragraph personal statement of who you are. Most employers when asking for your personal objective in your resume are really just asking you to describe yourself in one paragraph.  Most prospective employees sadly, copy the identification of someone else or something fancy off the internet. In identifying who you are, there are some sub questions that will help in your definition. IDENTITY CRISIS Introduce me as delightful and splendid. That was the definition girls liked to give themselves in my junior high school. I guess at that time, there was a lot of identity crisis going on and everyone was trying to define themselves away from the childish pedestals, we had otherwise assumed on ourselves while in primary school. We all go through some identification definition at different facets of our existence here on earth. What do we think of ourselves at every season of our lives?  This has a way to determine the definition you give or not give yourself. It also means that we are constantly redefining our humanity based on our thoughts. WHO AM I?  These three words have caused wars and rumors of wars between desire and responsibility. Between spontaneity and self-discipline.  If you cannot say distinctly that this is who you are at any given time in your life, then you have defined yourself by one word CONFUS
